Day 87- Stop the Press!

After two weeks on the road, I am glad to be back to home sweet home. The only thing that I don’t like is trying to sift through the sea of mail that has accumulated since we have been gone.

At least I remembered to stop the local newspaper this time. I used to come home to a mountain of newspapers that went directly in the recycling bin. After doing this project for a while now, I find it easier to make better choices in my life all around. It’s kind of strange. I actually feel good about doing the right thing.

I had a choice to either donate the papers to charity or add the two weeks to the end of my subscription. Can you believe that I donated my papers to charity instead of being selfish and adding it to the end of my subscription? I guess that the scientists are right–the world IS starting to end.

Evaluate your newspaper subscription. If you get it every day but do not read it, at least bring it to work and let someone else enjoy it. Also, most papers have weekend only options if you don’t want to deal with the paper every day.
